We strongly recommend that students extend their education at Yago School with an exchange abroad, whether it be a short cultural immersion, a term or a full year abroad.
The advantage of learning a language at origin is the enriching personal experience of living away from home in another country. Summer programmes, cultural exchanges and stays abroad are one of the most enriching experiences in the most formative stage of our students’ education.
In order for parents to gather information and make decisions about which experiences are the best options for each child, our International Experiences Coordinator, Ms. Victoria Clerkin, is available to give advice and connect parents with study abroad companies as well as offer internal exchange programs for Secondary students. One such program is the two-week cultural exchange with fellow IB school The Newman School in Boston, USA. If you are interested in learning more about the option of extending your son or daughter’s global perspective by being a host family, partaking in a cultural exchange, or studying abroad for a term, you will be very happy to learn about all Yago has to offer.

In order for these experiences to be a guarantee of success, we have agreements with renowned companies specialising in the organisation of language programmes abroad in order to jointly create course catalogues, selecting those programmes which, due to their recognition and good work over the years, are a magnificent option for our students.
